Upcoming Books

I am currently working on publishing two children’s picture books ‘The Bright Blue Ball”, and “All I That I Needed”.  “All That I Needed” is a limerick I wrote in 1986 I’ll publish as my second children’s picture book. I am also compiling my completed poetry manuscripts for publication and working on the completion of my first novel “The Mysteries of  Lake Okeechobee.” If you’re a new writer struggling to become published or just want to see what this journey entails, feel free to follow along and learn from my mistakes and triumphs.

Now it’s time to write.

Bright Blue Ball

Did The Bright Blue Ball fall from the trolly, or did it purposefully seek an  opportunity for adventure? Perhaps we will never know or perhaps we will  find out in a sequel. What is for sure is the bright blue ball reached a whole new level of fun rolling down those streets of San Francisco.

Why I Want “The Bright Blue Ball” Published

The Bright blue ball is this authors first children’s book. It is a fun story that teaches children to enjoy the journey of life with the confidence that their current circumstances, no matter how treacherous they may seem, is all a matter of perception. With the right attitude life is a fun adventure. Imbedded in the story, as it is in real life, you will find the effects of gravity,  physics, and kinetic energy. And on a side note…if one treasures their belongings they should not allow them to fall off the Trolley.

All That I Needed

All that I needed is a fun Limerick about a man with big dreams of ruling his world and those around him. In the end he finds his dreams were so big he missed out on the one thing that really mattered in his life. Love.

Why I Want “All That I Needed“ Published

The demands of this world can be so large at times, at least in our own mind, that we lose track of what is truly important in our own life.  Sometimes these demands are external. Sometimes these demands are placed on us by our own dreams and definition of success. “All That I  Needed” teaches children to consider what is truly important in their lives before it gets lost.

A Life Of Love

A collection of love poems written by R. Vic Way.

I’ve been writing love poems since 1985. Since I began writing, there’s  always been someone in my life that says, ”you need to release your poems into the world. Someone needs to read this.” I am grateful that I finally have the time to share my love with the world.

Example Poem:

Love Is

A warm fire on a snowy winters night

A cool breeze in August

A ray of sunshine parting the clouds on a stormy day

The brightest star on a pitch dark night

Your love ignites my imagination

And sends me soaring on silver lined clouds of joy.

Your love is the one thing I want to explore the rest of my life.
